Mahesh Muchhala

Mahesh brings over thirty-five years of entrepreneurial and management experience to CertifiedMail, his fifth start-up company. Prior to co-founding CertifiedMail in 1995, Mahesh co-founded Safetynet, Inc. in 1991, a security software developer focused primarily on the data access control requirements of the Department of Defense. He successfully obtained GSA contracts for Safetynet and extended sale of its security software products to the SEC and other agencies. Mahesh's first business venture in the US, after emigrating from India in 1987, was V&M International, Inc. an exporter of computer hardware to Europe. In India, Mahesh founded Acme Management Consultants in Bombay to promote major Japanese and European companies - including Mitsui, Kawasaki, Toyo Engineering, and Hoechst - to Indian Government agencies in the nationalized fertilizer and chemicals industries. He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Bombay and an MS in Chemical Engineering from New York State University.

Bob Janacek

Bob has almost twenty years of security and software design experience, and is the architect, designer and original developer of the products and services that comprise CertifiedMail's Secure Email System. His vision keeps the CertifiedMail technology on the cutting edge of technology, while his ongoing communications with customers ensure that the products are easy to use and to manage. His foresight helped transform the original Managed Security Service into a software solution for the corporate market, which he has followed with a series of modules to enhance various aspects of the system's functionality. Previously, Bob was the lead designer and developer of Safetynet's award-winning suite of data security products. Since 1992, he has worked closely with the NSA Rainbow Series and DoD Orange Book standards for C2 Security mandated by the Federal government. Bob holds a BS in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and an MBA in Marketing from Rutgers University.

Raghu Sugavanam

Raghu is an accredited investor with a portfolio of five companies in the high-tech industry, including CertifiedMail, where he was the lead investor in its Series A. He is on the Board of Directors of MyOwn.MD and on the board of advisors of many companies. He is a charter member of TiE, a non-profit global networking organization based in Silicon Valley that actively promotes entrepreneurship through forum events and was recently featured on the cover of Update and in Fortune magazine and The Wall Street Journal. Raghu is the Founder and CEO of IndoPortals.com, Inc. based in San Diego, California. He was also the founder and former President of Mercantile Software Systems, developing high performance database marketing system used by leading direct marketers. In 1997, Mercantile Software was acquired by Harte-Hanks, Inc., one of the top five direct marketing companies in the world.
