CertifiedMail's Secure Email System for in-house use enhances your existing email system by providing secure, trackable delivery of e-mail messages to any Internet recipient. It uses transparent encryption and is highly scalable and extremely cost-effective. The sender or the recipient does not need to install new software or hardware, or learn a different approach to email; the technology is simply integrated with email clients such as Outlook, Lotus Notes and GroupWise using the Send Certified™ button, and no change in user behavior is required. The system is highly customizable for corporate implementation and, through its standards-based open protocol architecture, provides robust messaging services to any internet-enabled wired or wireless device.

The Secure Email System technology is designed to provide two-factor authentication by integrating with tokens, smart cards, and biometrics or with existing PKI or digital certificate users. It seamlessly integrates with Active Directory and other LDAP systems.

The technology is 100% internally developed and owned by CertifiedMail. The process of auto-enrollment of recipients without administrative support or prerequisites is protected by Patent #6,684,248, and other patents in process relate to the unique email client integration with client-level encryption and other processes.

For end users:
